Expanding the 'Tales' of the Star Wars Galaxy

The "Tales of" format offers a great way to explore the minutiae of the Star Wars Galaxy, giving us glimpses into the lives of characters and locations often overlooked. Here are a few ideas that have us reaching for our lightsabers:

  • Tales of the Outer Rim:

    • Imagine a series that showcases the diverse and often dangerous worlds of the Outer Rim. From the mean streets of Nar Shaddaa to the desolate landscapes of Ryloth, this series could explore the lives of smugglers, bounty hunters, and even ordinary citizens struggling to survive on the fringes of the galaxy.

  • Tales of the Old Republic:

    • With clusters of centuries before the Clone War era, The Old Republic era is ripe with storytelling potential. A "Tales of" series set during this time could explore the ancient conflicts between the Jedi and Sith, the rise and fall of civilizations, and the legendary figures who shaped the galaxy. It'd be a great way to segue to Mangold's "Dawn of the Jedi" movie

  • Tales of the Clone Wars: Untold Stories:

    • Yes, we've spent A LOT of time in this era, but there are many untold stories that could be told. Stories of clone troopers, and the every day people caught in the crossfire of such a huge conflict, like the Martez sisters.

  • Tales of the Jedi Temple:

    • A series that dives into the daily lives of Jedi younglings, padawans, and masters within the hallowed halls of the Jedi Temple. This could explore the diverse backgrounds of Jedi, the challenges of their training, and the internal conflicts they face.

  • Tales of The High Republic:

    • Exploring the golden age of the Jedi, this series could showcase the unique challenges and triumphs of this era, revealing the era's unique force users, and the dangers they faced. Maybe a continuation of the Acolyte story....OR JUST MAKE A SEASON 2!!

  • Tales of The Mandalorians:

    • This series could dive deep into the many clans of mandalore, and the many different paths that mandalorian culture has taken throughout the star wars timeline.

  • Tales of Pyloon's Saloon:

    • The fan favorite bar from Jedi: Survivor! This would be a great way to show the many adventures of the people that pass through Pyloon's Saloon, and the many stories that are shared there.

  • Tales from Kanjiklub:

    • This would be a very interesting way to show the criminal underworld, and the many dangerous people that inhabit it. A Star Wars martial arts action mini-series would be great!

  • Tales From The Sith Eternal:

    • Delving into the dark mysteries of the Sith Eternal, this series could explore their rituals, their devotion to the dark side, and the terrifying power they wield. The hierarchy of the fleet and how they interact would be great to see.

  • Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina:

    • This iconic hive of scum and villainy holds countless stories within its walls. From the smugglers making shady deals to the bounty hunters tracking their prey, this series could explore the lives of the cantina's regulars and the unexpected encounters that take place within its dimly lit corners. Every booth, every drink, and every musical note has a story.
